And the Saga Continues

Do you know where your car title is?! I don't. I have a file folder...which is empty. I've torn apart my office. Paged through files paper by paper. Can't find it. Looks like tomorrow I'm going back, once again, to the DMV but this time for a replacement title. Of course, it' going to be snowing all day tomorrow and I'm driving a huge rental SUV. Which sounds safe but in reality is actually scary to drive - it's so much bigger than my Prius. At least I realized it now. The insurance company wants to settle but can't until I get them the title and I can't buy a car until I get the settlement and yeah - so DMV.

I keep telling myself these are all very good lessons I'm learning. At my age, you would have thought I'd learned them already. I mean, I've tried. I have a file folder for my title. It was in a fire safe metal cabinet. I just have no idea what might have happened to it. Argh.
